"The WhistlePig Farm has been putting out some incredible rye whiskey for many years now.  When the folks at Iconic offered us access to a single barrel pick of the 10 year expression we jumped at the opportunity.  

The barrel selection started out as all covid forced remote barrel picks, 5 x samples sent across the world with no info given other than the barrel # & proof of each whiskey we had to choose from.  Usually there tends to be a bit of discussion around which sample is best, but this time it was unanimous barrel #19660 was the clear standout.  It wasn't until months later we learned we had actually picked an almost 18 year old whiskey!
