18 year rye whiskey, 54.5% abv

Lock Stock & Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey is double distilled from a rare mash bill of 100 percent rye grain. A “robust cut” is selected by master distillers, then the unfiltered spirit is aged in new charred American Oak barrels in cold weather. Lock Stock & Barrel 18-year is explosively flavorful and intense, yet perfectly balanced with notes that suggest hot, buttered gingerbread, dried peach, toasted pecan, ripe honeydew and tobacco leaf.

 

Australian Liquor licensing laws

Orrsum Spirits supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol. (NSW Package Liquor Licence No: LIQP770017311, ABN 60 037 670 494)

It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. As per Australian Liquor Licensing Laws. All customers must be over 18 years of age to place an order for alcohol and receive the delivery. A customer’s order will not be left with persons under the age of 18 years (proof of age may be required) and our couriers will use their best endeavors to verify ID. We may also ask the customer to provide additional details or require them to confirm their details to enable us to process any orders placed by or through the eBay store.

Alcohol Restricted Areas

We deliver Australia wide, excluding areas classified by the Australian Government as dry zones or restricted areas. Alcohol is banned in these areas outside a licensed premise. If your delivery address is located within a restricted area, your order will be placed on hold and we will contact you via email or phone. If you are unable to provide an alternate delivery address that does not lie within a restricted area, your order will be cancelled and refunded. If you are located within NT, QLD, WA, SA and are unsure, please contact your State Government website to find out if you reside in a restricted area.

Delivery

Orders are sent via Sendle. Due to the delicate nature of our goods and to ensure our packages arrive to you with care, we do not have the option of sending via Express Post. All parcels are manually handled throughout the Sendle network. While this takes slightly longer than express, this is to reduce mishandling and damages.

Delivery time frames listed are an estimate only and based on business days once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse (this does not include the handling time/day of dispatch). We are unable to guarantee or provide a day of the week or time of day for delivery.

INTERSTATE METRO 4-7 business days
INTERSTATE COUNTRY 10-14 business days

If you are not at home at the time of delivery, a calling card will be left in your mailbox. This card will advise the next steps required to obtain delivery of your order. If you fail to collect your goods and the items are returned to our warehouse, you will be responsible for any charges incurred in redelivering the products to you.

At times, due to unforeseen circumstances, delivery may be longer than estimated due to carrier delays outside of our control. Please allow 3 business days after the estimated delivery time frame has lapsed to contact us for follow up. Sendle indicate more than 90% of late parcels are successfully delivered within 3 days after the expected delivery date.

If your delivery address is incomplete/incorrect or you have listed any of the above postal types, you will be contacted by an Orrsum Spirits Customer Service Representative either via eBay message or phone for an alternate delivery address. Each order may only be sent to one delivery address. If you need to send products to more than one delivery address, please place a separate order for each delivery address. Please ensure the delivery details in your online account or checkout page reflect your correct address to which you would like your order delivered. If there is an issue with stock on your order, we will contact you via eBay message or phone to notify you and resolve.

Tracking

Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an automated email advising that your order has been completed and a tracking number with a link to the carrier's website will be provided so you can track your delivery. You will receive a tracking number from 3 different sources; eBay, us directly and Sendle. Please allow up to 24 hours from issue of tracking number to see Sendle scanning events.

Change of Delivery Address

If you haven’t received your Tracking number via an automated email, please contact us immediately to update your address details.

If your order has been dispatched from our warehouse and no attempt at delivery has been made, you can redirect your parcel via URL below. Enter the tracking number issued to you via email upon dispatch. Once you have entered your tracking number, click on 'TRACK’ and you will have the option to request a redirection.

Redelivery / Return to Sender

Once an order has left our warehouse and is in-transit to you, a $20.00 fee is incurred for any parcels returned to sender. This fee is passed onto the customer when;

  • the delivery address has been incorrectly entered by the customer
  • a parcel is undelivered and has not been collected from the Post Office within 5 business days
  • you don't think the parcel will reach you in time and want to return it for a refund

If a parcel has been returned to our warehouse due to the above and you want the item re-sent to you, you will be charged the redelivery fee as well as the return to sender charge. If you request a refund, then your refund amount will be less the RTS fee.

Authority to Leave – Not Available

Due to the nature of our goods, we do not allow 'Authority to Leave' requests. If a request has been made at the time the order is placed, the request will be removed prior to shipping. If an Authority to Leave request is made directly with the courier post shipment, no claims can be made on the goods for lost, damaged or missing items at your nominated address. Orrsum Spirits will not accept any liability for such claims.

Packing and Insurance

All items are packed to a very high standard. All items are insured during transit to cover damage or non-delivery. If you receive any damaged goods, please contact us within 24 hours from delivery to arrange a replacement.

Handling Times

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. If your order is placed before 8am AEST, we will endeavor to ship the same business day, otherwise your order will be dispatched the next business day. If we are experiencing high volumes of orders due to peak periods or promotions, our handling time may be extended up to 3 business days which will be incorporated into the Delivery time frame above.

Please ensure you have provided a valid address on your eBay order as this may delay your dispatch time frame. If we encounter an address issue, you will be contacted via eBay message or phone to resolve.

Handling of Large Items

Please note that a full case of wine or spirits weighs more than 16kg. Therefore, we recommend that our customers take extra care when lifting deliveries. If you are concerned at all about the weight, we suggest that you transfer the bottles one or two at a time.

International Shipping - Not Available

At this time, we do not ship internationally, only within Australia.

Christmas & New Year Delivery Terms and Conditions

To receive your delivery before Christmas and New Year, please place your order before the recommended cut off dates (AEST). At the time of delivery, if you are not at the delivery address, our Carriers will leave a calling card so you can organise re-delivery or pick up from your local Sendle location. In the unlikely event your purchase is faulty, damaged, lost in transit or breaches a consumer guarantee we will exchange the product or provide a refund. We will do everything to ensure you receive the replacement in time for Christmas but are unable to guarantee this due to the delivery cut off dates and courier delivery schedules during this peak period.
